DISADVANTAGES OF CRASH DIET:


Crash dieting is what most of do for losing weight in a very short period of time.  crash dieting is losing weight by limited calories in a very short period of time. on one hand it helps in a quick weight reduction while on other hand it causing lots of health problems. here we will be discussing some of them for the awareness purpose. if you are thinking of a crash dieting then let me tell you its a big NO NO from the health point of view.
Since crash diet is a diet with a very limited intake of food so it leads to starvation. it does not provide sufficient calories of food leading to the weakness and early tiredness. it also leads to the anorexia, malnutrition and metabolic disorders. after crash diet there is an increased tendency of weight gain.
crash diet leads to imbalanced diet which results in malnutrition. crash diet loses lien body mass instead of the fats which is harmful for the body. it also causes certain health complications like ketosis, serum uric acid and gallstone. the size of gallstone depends upon the duration of the weight loss.
crash diet also effects socialization as it is very difficult to follow strict crash diet  when in groups. it can be problematic to stick to one diet and it causes monotonous feeling.
